Your Heart Better be in it

Monday, March 9th, 2009

With people facing the greatest challenges everyday in their lives, one thing is a given, their heart better be in it. How dedicated are you to your dreams?  How strong is your desire to move forward when you have tasted defeat? If you want to overcome adversity on a daily basis, your heart better be totally dedicated to the goals that you desire.

Survival in today’s difficult economy depends on the individual. I believe success is 90% mental and 10% skills. I have seen so many people accomplish incredible outcomes who had very little education and very little skill sets. What set these achievers apart is their burning desire to succeed, their passion to achieve the outcomes that they desired. Their hearts were totally committed to achieving their dreams and they were not going to let anything get in their way. They believed that success was their only option.

What are your challenges like daily? How strong is your will to overcome these challenges on a daily basis? Is your heart totally in it? Is your heart filled with passion and determination? It better be or else you will fail. Your heart better be filled with passion and determination because if you want to achieve in today’s tough marketplace, your heart better be in it.

You are the creator of your future. You are the creator of your life. You better have your heart totally dedicated to achieve the dreams that you desire because if you don’t, you will never achieve anything significant. However, if your heart is in everything that you do, there is no limit to what you can achieve. So fully invest your heart in to making your biggest dreams come true. Make it happen now. I know you can.

How do you measure Greatness in Men and Women?

Monday, February 16th, 2009

How do you measure greatness in individuals? What do they do when the going gets tough? How do they act when things are not going so great? Do they rise to the occasion? Or do they crumble when there is pressure? You truly can measure a person’s character by discovering how much it takes to discourage them. Some people fold with the smallest setbacks, while others can take so much adversity and consistently overcome. Which type of person are you?

If you are the type of person that can easily get discouraged, you need to change that immediately. I am afraid in today’s economy, the people who get easily discouraged are going to have some major problems. You need to get tough, real tough. You need to get ready to overcome any obstacle that comes your way. I have seen some major challenges out there. Yet I have seen people overcome these challenges. How did they do it? They never stopped believing. In these dark days, we are going to see some shining stars. Because just like Martin Luther King said, “Only when it is dark enough can you see the stars.” Now is definitely the time for your star to shine bright.

Do you know how many setbacks I have experienced in my life? Enough for my lifetime and two to three more lifetimes. Yet I have overcome every time. Some setbacks were harder than others. I knew that what didn’t kill me would only make me stronger. I knew that I would never accept failure. I knew that failure was always a chance to begin again with a better approach. I knew that failure was just an outcome. I knew that if I didn’t get the outcome that I was after, all I had to do is change my approach and keep trying until I succeeded. This persistence to achieve made me a lot of money over the years. I learned early on as a 21 year old salesmen that those who could overcome failure easily would go on to make lots of money. If I have been able to overcome my setbacks, so can you. All you have to do is believe in yourself. All you have to do is take total control over your thoughts and actions. All you have to do is overcome no matter what is thrown your way. Are you a believer? Sure you are, now go out there and make it happen. If HoomanCan, I know you can.
