Giving Without Any Expectations In Return Is The Most Rewarding Feeling In The World.
I had the privilege of speaking to a group of wonderful people on behalf of a foundation called “Living Hope.” These people represented various businesses and divisions of government like the Department of Education, Housing Urban Development, Department of Corrections, and other divisions of Florida government. I was invited by Pasteur Caretha Brown of Living Hope so I could inspire the audience to donate anything they could to this amazing foundation. Their mission is to help battered women and homeless women to get back on their feet. They do everything and anything they can to help these woman get back to living a normal life. Living Hope helps teach these ladies different life skills, occupational skills, and other life management skills. The founder Pasteur Caretha Brown, is an amazing lady who started her mission 25 years ago with a dream. Over the years, this amazing lady has helped thousands of women get back to leading productive lives. She is an inspiration to me because of everything she has accomplished over the years. I am living the life of my dreams as a motivational speaker, I live in my dream home that is over 7,000 square feet. I have so many of the things that I have wanted in my life. One thing that I don’t have is my legacy. One of my new desires in my life is to make a difference in the world as a humanitarian. I want to leave a legacy as a human being that lived to give to others, without any expectation in return. I know times are hard for so many people, myself included. However, there have never been so many people who have been in such desperate need for help. I want to issue you a challenge. I want to challenge you to go out there and find charitable organizations like Living Hope that are in your hometown. Become a volunteer, join the board, become a humanitarian so you can give back. It will be the most rewarding thing you have ever done. When I do work with charities like this, it is the most rewarding feeling I have ever felt, I can’t explain it, it is just such an awesome feeling. I am going to get my 10 year old boy and my 7 year old daughter involved as well. Charities have never needed you, like they need you know. Whether its clothes, food, old furniture, money, or your precious time. Give anything you can now, so you can experience the wonderful feeling that one experiences when one gives the wonderful gift of giving. Remember, you will only get all the things you want in life, if you help others get all the things that they want.
