How Do We Know If We Are Making The Right Choice?

Have you ever had the opportunity of a lifetime and you blew it? Have you ever ruined the best thing that ever happened to you? Did you ever let someone down that you really love? Did you ever ask yourself if something is worth the risk? The choices that we make in life will always determine the quality of our outcomes and experiences. The billion dollar question is, how do we know which way is right, or which way is wrong? If you knew the secret answer to every one of life’s questions, you would be the most famous person in the world. CEO’s of the biggest corporations would pay you millions, if not billions for that talent. Imagine if you could look into the future and be right 100% of the time. Imagine the headaches and heartbreaks you could avoid for you and the rest of the world. Do you know the power you could possess if you were always right? Too bad no one in the world has that power, because we are all created equal. As humans, we are born to make mistakes. There is even a song with these lyrics, “I’m only human, born to make mistakes.” Why are mistakes such a big part of our lives?

Mistakes are good when?

If you are anything like me, you have made some mistakes in your life. Yes, humans make mistakes, but making them is a good thing because you have an opportunity to make yourself better, because mistakes are just lessons learned. The key factor is learning from them so you don’t keep making the same ones. It is so important you develop a new outlook towards your mistakes because how you recover from your mistakes is what makes who you are. How you recover from your mistakes will determine what you are made of. It is an unacceptable disservice to yourself if you don’t learn from your mistakes. Mistakes are a part of life’s learning experience because they make you stronger, smarter, and better prepared for your future. Get excited about them because you are giving yourself a better outlook at your learning opportunity. What is done, is done. You have two options, its entirely up to you. Are you going to get excited because you are learning and you shouldn’t have that problem again? Or are you going to get all bent out of shape and make matters worse? How are you going to act when you make a mistake?

My horrible reaction?

Like I said before it is okay to make mistakes. Once I made a huge mistake that caused me to be so disappointed with myself that I couldn’t stop sabotaging everything I had worked so hard to achieve. Instead of my usual response to a challenge, I was slowly torturing myself with negative affirmations because I had turned into a reactor. Instead of responding to the opportunity to overcome my adversity, I had a horrible reaction to my problem. I went so deep in despair that I couldn’t even see the light of day. I was so hard on myself that I was constantly thinking, “I can’t believe this happened to me. “What Should I do? When will this end?” Where did all of my energy go? Why is all of this bad stuff happening to me? I can’t wait to hit rock bottom. When is rock bottom?” The reason I couldn’t wait until I hit rock bottom was because I knew that when you hit rock bottom, it only gets better from there. However, I wasn’t ready for rock bottom yet. What I didn’t keep saying to myself was, “Hooman, you are the creator of your life by controlling the quality of your thoughts. You are what you think. By thinking bad, you will feel bad. Hooman, it is impossible to feel bad when your thoughts are good. Go back to thinking you can do anything you want to Hooman. You are the creator of your outcomes, only you could be the navigator of your destiny.” I wish I would’ve told myself things like, “Hooman, It is time to stop feeling sorry for yourself. Get back up and do what you do best. It isn’t going to be easy Hooman, but that is why it is going to feel so awesome when you get it right” I wish I would’ve told myself, “Hooman, get off the ground and get back in the game. If you fall down again, it is okay because you are going to keep getting back up until you make it. Hooman, you can overcome anything you desire. Nothing can stop you unless you let it.” You see, I was the only person in the world who could decide which path I would ultimately take. Would I follow the yellow brick road and make all of my dreams come true? Would I cherish every moment of every day? Or would I weaken daily to my slow death as the killer of my spirit? Would I be the master of my own disaster? I was flying so high on my achievements that I never thought it would ever get rough for me. Life will give you shock and awe but that is when I should have responded to the opportunity by overcoming the challenges in front of me.

Passion Becomes Inspiration Bringing Motivation To Your Situation

The reason I didn’t always see how beautiful the landscape of my life was because of my outlook. My vision was so nasty because I was trying to find rock bottom and all my negativity was just killing my spirit slowly. How did I go from being an achiever, to being a non believer? After all of my years of being super motivated I had run out of gas. I always had the strongest beliefs in my abilities, that made me unstoppable as I passionately achieved what I set out to do. Passion is the gas that runs your life and I was empty of it. Your life should be an endless pursuit of massive passion. You must be addicted to passion, so your desire always stays on fire. Passion turns your inspiration into motivation. Your motivation is what empowers you to take action. I had run out of the passion when I needed it the most because I had the biggest challenge of my life and I was nowhere to be found. I had created a challenge for myself that was so big, that it just scared me into making excuses and feeling sorry for myself. This stripped me of my belief in my abilities to overcome anything that life threw at me. My life was going so good that I forgot to expect the unexpected. In the darkest days of my life, when I needed to use my inner inspiration to empower me, I got so scared that I forget how you overcome adversity. I had let the trials and tribulations of my journey demoralize my ambitions. We all have inspiration inside of us because we are all created equal. The level of our passion determines how we use the inspiration that is within all of us. You must ignite your burning desire with passion so it inspires you with motivation to take action. Do anything you can to stay as passionate as possible because passion will empower you to to keep moving forward whenever life tries to knock you down. Passion will get you back up so you can focus on overcoming life’s most difficult challenges. Go out there and make it look easy.

WEBCAM SUICIDE… TEEN KILLS SELF AS CYBERSICKOS WATCHED. WHO’S TO BLAME?

Wednesday, November 26th, 2008

When I read in Saturday’s New York Post, I couldn’t believe what I was reading. It reported that a 19 year old student committed suicide in front of a live internet audience while dozens of cybersickos watched his slow death. These wackos cracked jokes, instead of calling for help.

Abraham Biggs, of Pembroke Pines, Florida told members of the bodybuilding.com message board that he wanted to die and he posted a link to a live streaming video of a webcam pointed at his bed so they all could watch him take his own life. Over the next twelve hours, his bodybuilding message board buddies encouraged him by telling him to “do it.” Some called him a “failure” while others just made fun of him as they chatted away while the deadly cocktail of drugs was killing him slowly. As hours passed and Biggs body laid still, bodybuilding.com message board moderators were able to track down his location and they called the police. This heartless audience watching on the live video feed continued to laugh and post LOL comments as the police kicked down his door to find a dead Biggs. His heartbroken sister couldn’t believe that no one did a thing while he laid there, slowly expiring. Even though Biggs was being treated for biopolar disorder, his family said his suicide came as a shock to them. His father, Abraham Biggs Sr. was shocked that Justin.tv allowed his son’s death to be broadcast live while people didn’t do anything.

Biggs posted a suicide note on the bodybuilding.com message board saying that his life felt meaningless. He said, “I have let everyone down and I feel as though I will never change or never improve. I am in love with a girl and I know that I am not good enough for her. I have come to believe that my life has all been meaningless. I keep trying and I keep failing.” He said his biggest fear was not his pain, but how his death would affect his family. “I don’t want my mother or father to think that it was anything they did that lead me to kill myself. My father had such high expectations for me and tried to give me every opportunity to improve upon myself. I let him down.”

I don’t know how many people were watching Biggs die, but from the messages that the members of bodybuilding.com were posting, it seemed like they all knew Biggs well. At first message board members used this as an opportunity to tease him  because they didn’t believe him. Biggs had been known to tell tall tales in the past. One member said, “He’s faked this before, ignore the retard.” Eight hours passed since Biggs first message before someone finally recommended to call the cops, but it was too late. By the time the cops got there, Abraham Biggs died.

Can you believe that. I didn’t want to write about it earlier because it is one of the most horrific stories I had ever read. The more I thought about it, the more it bothered me because I knew that I had been in his shoes before. In fact, many people have been in his shoes before. Nearly everyone at some time in his or her life thinks about suicide, but most people choose to live to because they realize they can overcome there temporary situations. Others don’t handle problems and situations as well as some, so they believe that there is no hope. They believe that they can’t stop their pain and that there is no way out for them. There were dark times in my life where I thought about suicide for a second but I could never do that to the people who I loved. Suicide is the worst thing you could ever do because not only do you hurt yourself, but you hurt all the loved ones around you for a really long time. Suffering family members not only suffer the loss of a loved one, but they themselves become a higher risk for suicide and emotional problems.

Suicide is a major problem, in 2005 it was the eleventh leading cause of death in the United States, claiming 32,637 lives. It is the eight leading cause of death for males. Four times more men complete suicide compared to women, however three times more women attempt suicide compared to men. On average, there is one suicide every 17 minutes. Suicide occurs across all ethnic, economic, social, and age boundaries. Every year in America, we have over 700,000 people attempting suicide. We have to improve this nightmare scenario.

I am asking all of you to pay extra close attention to the people in your life because there seems to be a rise in suicide rates due to the bad economy. There are warning signs to suicide, so if we can catch them, we can help save someone’s precious life. It is up to us to rise up as a nation and act with passion so we can save someone’s life, whenever we can. These people who watched this without doing something need some desperate help. They need to realize how precious life is. They need to realize that whenever you are presented with an opportunity to help save someone’s life, you do it.

If You Give Everything You Do In Life Your Best Performance, You Will Never Have Regrets.

Tuesday, November 25th, 2008

Whenever you are doing anything in your life, give it your very best performance. Don’t waste any effort doing anything unless you are giving it your absolute best performance. Life is not a dress rehearsal, it is for real. When you go through life giving everything you do, your very best performance, you will have no regrets. You will never look back one day and say, “Oh, I wish I would have tried a little harder. I wish I could have another chance.” Those are questions you never want to ask yourself because it will mean that you will have regrets. You don’t want to go through life with regrets. I don’t want to regret anything in my life. When it is all said and done, I will never have any regrets because I know that I gave it my all. When you know you have given it your all, you feel awesome about yourself. You know there was nothing else you could have done. When you are giving it your best your performance, it will show when you perform. When we are going full blast we can usually stretch our abilities to achieve at levels that were once beyond our abilities. So never perform unless you are performing at your best so you can give yourself the best shot at success.

Go out there and let it all hang out.

Achieve The Success You Have Dreamed Of When You Eliminate Your Limiting Beliefs.

Monday, November 24th, 2008

When we set limitations for ourselves, we are only sabotaging our opportunities for achievement. Some people think they can never get more out of life, they are stuck to the life they live. The only reason they are stuck where they are is that they don’t desire to change. Someone made them believe that they couldn’t do better for themselves and they were okay with it. When I was 16 years old, some people thought I didn’t stand a chance to make anything of myself. I didn’t listen to what anyone ever said. I didn’t listen to the people who talked bad about me then and I don’t listen to anyone who doubts my abilities now. I didn’t care that they said that I would never make it because I always believed that I would make it. It doesn’t matter what people think you can do, it only matter what YOU think you can do. When you have limiting beliefs, you are sabotaging yourself and you will be destined to fail. When you believe you can achieve anything you desire, your achievements will exceed your own highest expectations. Ever since I started to think big, I achieved bigger. I used to have the limiting belief that I couldn’t make it as a motivational speaker because I was afraid to even give it a shot. All I was doing was hurting my own chances to make it. Only when I let go of any limiting beliefs that I had is when I started to dream without any limitations on what I was going to achieve. This took my abilities to achieve to a whole new level. I was starting to have the success that I used to only dream of but thought I couldn’t do. The more success I had, the more confidence I got. The more confident I became, the bigger I dreamed. The bigger I dreamed, the bigger I achieved. It was the greatest feeling in the world when I realized that I could now live the life of my dreams as a motivational speaker, helping people achieve their dreams. Remember, if you set limits on yourself, you will only achieve at your limits. However, if you don’t limit yourself, there will be no limit to the level of your achievements you can manifest. YOU and only YOU are the creator of your future.

Learning Will Give You The Opportunity To Make Your Life Better By The Day.

Saturday, November 22nd, 2008

Our abilities to learn has to be one of life’s most precious gifts. It is through learning that our lives have so many opportunities to do so many amazing things. Because of learning, we have evolved from cave men to people who live in unbelievable destinations like outer space, where we have full time residents on the space station. It is through learning that our life expectancies have gone up every year because we have learned to take better care of ourselves. I wish I was pushed more to learn as a kid. It is too late for that but you know what its not too late for? My opportunity to never stop learning and growing now. I have learned that I can’t control the past, but what I can control is my future. I choose to learn something new every day. Sometimes I learn big things, sometimes I learn small things, but as long as I am learning, my future is incredibly bright. When I learned to become a life long student of this game called life is when I became truly enlightened. That is when I looked at everything from a totally different perspective. I was a student, thirsty for massive knowledge. My vision for the future was so incredible because I had learned that I could achieve anything I desired as long as I had faith in my abilities. The world was my opportunity, all I had to do was seize it. I had so many great achievers that I had learned from and since success leaves clues, I used this wisdom from the greatest minds to make my life better than ever. Don’t try to reinvent the wheel, just improve it. Go through life with the desire to learn something new everyday. Keep an open mind and I guarantee you that you will have the success you have always dreamed of. The only way to live is when you live to learn.

You are out there trying your absolute hardest, giving it everything you have. Then you don’t get the results you are looking for. After all that hard work and preparation, you failed again. It can be so devastating to your spirit when you fail. The doubts start to rear their ugly heads in the back of your mind and all the sudden, you hear some little voice saying it is time to quit. How do you know when its time to quit? How do you know when it is time to move on? You have overcome so much adversity and you keep trying to achieve but you just can’t seem to make it. How do you know when to quit? The answer is you never quit. You keep changing your approach until you get the results that you are looking for. You must never quit trying until you achieve the success you are looking for. You must understand that failure is just an outcome. It may not be the outcome you are looking for, but it is just an outcome. Failure is just an opportunity to begin again with a better action plan. When you are faced with adversity, you must have absolute faith in your abilities to achieve or else you will fail. You must never let anything stop your burning desire to achieve. I have had many failures in my life, too many to count. I learn from then and I move on with my life because I am focused on the bigger picture. I know what I want in my life and I am not going to let anything stop me. In my lifetime, I have been awesome at getting back up when I got knocked down. That is one of the main reasons I have been able to achieve the success that I have achieved in my lifetime. When you fall down, get back up as fast as you can. Remember, there are people out there who want to see you fail. There will always be critics out there who are looking forward to your fall. Its okay to fall, but you better get back up and keep trying. The highest paid people in the world are the people who can handle failure and come back achieving what they set out to do. You must remember that you can achieve anything you believe. The greatest achievers of all time sometimes failed thousands of times. They just kept trying because they knew that it wasn’t a matter of if they would succeed, it was only a matter of when they would succeed. Failure was not an option for them and it shouldn’t be an option for you. So many individuals gave up on their success when they were so close to tasting it, but they just couldn’t keep on keeping on. You must always keep on keeping on. You must never quit trying because if you do, you will never taste the sweet taste of victory. Go out there and make it happen.

My two favorite quotes from Henry Ford:

1. WIN OR LEARN, THERE IS NO FAILURE

2. WHETHER YOU BELIEVE YOU CAN, OR WHETHER YOU BELIEVE YOU CAN’T, YOU ARE RIGHT.

Building Long Term Relationships Will Always Lead To The Riches You Desire. 17 Steps To Show You How To Make It Happen.

Thursday, November 20th, 2008

You will never start experiencing the highest level of riches in your life until you start experiencing the highest quality relationships. The riches I am talking about are in the financial world and in your personal world. The personal power to achieve anything we desire is within all of us. To tap into this power, you must be at the right mindset. This mindset that I am talking about is only achievable when you have true harmony in your life. Your personal relationships and your business relationships must be pure. When  your relationships are pure, you will be experiencing a kind of energy that cannot be stopped. When you have this energy, you can achieve at unbelievable levels while you make it look easy. You will feel like you are walking ten feet off the ground, with a glow around you. People will instantly feel your positive energy every where you go. They will realize that you are a force, at the top of your game. I didn’t believe this power existed until I started experiencing it for myself. I didn’t get the perfect life until I believed in the ability to have a perfect life. Only you, can control your future. Only you, can make the changes required to become a perfect person. If you doubt this, you are right, the perfect life doesn’t exist. It will be impossible for you to have the perfect life. You can live your mediocre life and I am sure you will be okay. Who wants to be just okay? Not Hooman. I want to live my life to the fullest and then some. I want to be a master of mind power. I want to be a master at making all my relationships unbelievable. I want to create the amazing future that my family deserves. If I can do it than so can you, but only If you believe you can.

Life Is About Relationships And Communications.

I have learned that communication and relationships are the key to our lives. You must master the art of communication with yourself, your soul mate, your family, your business relationships, your community and your world. This will give you unbelievable relationships in your life. Relationships will lead you to the unbelievable experiences we are talking about. Relationships that are in harmony will be beneficial to you because they will give you an unlimited supply of passion. This passion is the fuel that burns your desire. Your strong desire for making your dream life come true will keep you committed to your cause. Your desire and passion will make your commitment to living your dream life unstoppable. There is no way to have it all if you don’t have the mastery of relationships and communication. You will either have one or another, but you will never have it all. I want it all, and I want it now. There are people who are extremely rich and they are extremely miserable. Then there are the people who are happy but they don’t have all the things that they want. Some people will become who they have always dreamed of becoming. The majority will never break out of their circumstances because they believe that they can’t achieve. They don’t believe it was meant for them. Let me tell you the great news. We are all created equal. We all have a chance to create are own destinies.  Some people are dealt better cards but it all comes done to how we play the game. When I was 22, I got married for all the wrong reasons. I was successful at sales but I knew I could always achieve so much more. I could almost taste it but I kept failing to get the results that I desired in the business world. I was doing better than most of my friends so they thought I was doing okay but that was not what I wanted. I wanted to be extremely  successful in every avenue of my life. However, my bad marriage was killing me. I tried to stay and work out my marriage for five years but need less to say, I knew what I had to do. My divorce was one of the best decisions that I ever made. I didn’t give up on true love. This made me start searching all over with a new passion for the perfect life. I knew through my beliefs that I was starting all over with a better understanding of what it takes to be successful in a real relationship.   I didn’t give up on the perfect life, I knew what I was focused on and there wasn’t going to be anything that could stop me. I believed it was my destiny to have the riches that I wanted. I wanted the riches in my heart and the riches in the bank so I could make a difference in the world that I dreamed of. I wanted to leave my legacy in the history books so I could live forever.

Although it took me about three years to find the level of happiness I was looking for. It wasn’t until I learned that the key to all riches was to be successful in all of your communication and your relationships. Today I am living the life of my dreams because I have amazing relationships with everyone I am in contact with, and I have the career that I have always dreamed of. My family is just amazing, and so is my soul mate. If I made it happen then so can you because you are the creator of your future. Your life will be as extraordinary as you make it. It is all up to you if you want okay or if you want the life of your dreams.

Here are the steps necessary to live your dream life.  Internalize this wisdom until it becomes a part of you. When you own it, spread your wisdom so you give back to the world that gives to you. When you master this, your life will change forever.

1. To have the perfect life, you must believe in the perfect life. According to Dr. Wayne Dyer, “You will see it when you believe it.”

2. Have a clear understanding of what you want out of your personal relationships and your business relationships. When you have harmony in both of these fields, you will experience riches beyond your highest expectations. Write these desired goals down clearly and look at them in the morning and again when you go to sleep at night.

3. You must be total aware of your thoughts and actions. Mind power will take you anywhere you want to go. It will empower you to achieve what most people think is impossible. Dedicate every moment of every day towards making this your reality. You can’t waste any time on anything but living your perfect life. It is imperative that you stay extremely focus on the future that you desire. Controlling your thoughts and actions will only make this journey so much easier.

4. Eliminate anything negative out of your life. Negativity will spread like the plague. You want nothing to do with anything negative in your life. The longer you let your negativity linger, the longer it will take for you to reach your desired outcomes.

5. Stay flexible in your approach. If you don’t get the results you desire, keep changing your approach until you get the outcomes that you desire. You don’t know how many people quit after a little failure. Failure makes the accomplishment so much sweeter. Failure makes you learn from your mistakes so you can begin again more intelligently. Failure is just a part of the learning curve. Start looking at everything like Henry Ford did, he said, “Win or learn, there is no failure.

6. Never cheat on anyone, whether it is your soul mate or the people you do business with. Don’t ever lose the trust of your relationships because it is nearly impossible to get the trust back.

7. Always do things for the best interest of people. Always think win-win situations. If you help everyone get all the things that they want, you will get all the things that you want. You can’t receive until you learn to give.

8. Don’t limit what you can do in your lives. Look to make your relationships better with everyone by the day. You must believe in constant and never ending improvement in every category of your life. Make long lasting business partnerships. These will make your success come so much easier. Make your relationship bonds stronger by the day. It doesn’t have to be only good in the beginning, it can be good forever. Remember, It is entirely up to us to keep our relationships amazing.

9. Learn to forgive people when they make mistakes. Forget the past, because there is nothing you can do to change the past. You can only change your future. If you don’t let go of the past, your future will always stay the same or get worse. Learn from the past to make your future brighter than ever.

10. Stay humble because it is nice to be important but it is more important to be nice. Never say anything bad about anyone. Never say anything bad to the people in your life.

11. Make yourself unforgettable so people will never forget you. Go out of your way to make people happy. Make yourself stand out. Be unique in an amazing way. Help anyone when ever you can.

12. Keep your passion going because it is the fuel that burns your desire.  Never stop working as hard as you can. When you are done working, makes sure you play as hard as you can. Life is not a destination, it is a wonderful journey. Make your journey through life as amazing as possible.

13. Persistence, Persistence, Persistence. Persistence will always pay off for you. Just remember to be extremely persistent in a velvety kind of way.

14. Dream big because there is no limit to what you can achieve. Everything in the world was once a thought. Thoughts become things. The bigger the thought, the harder the effort to manifest it. However when you do make it happen it is just becomes so much more rewarding.

15. Remember nothing good comes easy, and nothing easy is good.

16. Always be in total control of your feelings. If you become aware of bad thoughts, instantly change them to good thoughts because it is impossible to feel bad when your thoughts are good. Bad thoughts = bad feelings. Good Thoughts = good feelings.

17. Communication is the key to your life. Mastering the art of communications will give you everything you want in life. It will improve your communication in your relationships with yourself, with others, and the business world.
