Communication is the most important thing in your life, so it is imperative that you master the art of your communication skills. The quality of your life is going to depend on the quality of your communication with yourself and with others. You must immediately work on this area if you are not a master in the art of communication. Work on your delivery. Work on your knowledge of others interest. Work on being eloquent with your words. Show your class as a wordsmith. Speak nice with everyone because it is nice to be important but it is more important to be nice. Always give sincere compliments to your loved ones, your friends, and total strangers. Mark Twain said if you give someone a good compliment it will last them three months. Communication and human relationships are 85% of the keys to success. Technical knowledge is only 15%. I can’t stress enough the importance of your communication skills. One of the most important skills you can master is the art of being a master communicator. Be genuinely interested in others. Make sure you see things from your point of view as well as from other people’s point of view. Being a great communicator also requires you to be a great listener. Make sure you are not doing all the talking. Encourage people to tell you about themselves. Remember, people’s favorite subject is usually themselves. The more you talk about common interests, the better your communications will be with the person you are interacting with. Make the other person feel special and important. Don’t forget to smile as much as you can. Follow these tips to get the most out of your communication because communication is truly the key to your future.
